Rallye Elbflorenz 2021
Am 11.September war es wieder so weit: Die Rallye Elbflorenz stand bevor! Bereits im letzten Jahr hatten wir die Chance, die Zieleinfahrt der 8. Rallye Elbflorenz zu begleiten und so sollte es auch in diesem Jahr sein. Die 9. Ausgabe der Rallye sprengt wieder einmal die selbst aufgestellten Rekorde. Über 220 Teilnehmer und eine Strecke von insgesamt über 300km, die die Klassiker bestreiten mussten.
On September 11th, the time had come again: The Rally Elbflorenz was imminent! Last year, we had the chance to see the finish line at the 8th Rallye Elbflorenz and it should be like that this year too. The 9th edition of the rally breaks the records it has set itself. Over 220 participants and a distance of over 300km in total that the classics had to challenge.
Die diesjährige Route führte vorbei an Barockschlössern bis nach Görlitz. Von da aus ging es dann Richtung Oybin, vorbei am Oberlausitzer Dreieck und schlussendlich zurück zum Ziel: Die Galopprennbahn in Dresden.
Gegen 18:20 Uhr sollten dann auch, mit leichter Verspätung aufgrund starken Regens, die von der Rallye erschöpften Teams in Dresden eintreffen. Vor dieser spektakulären Kulisse begrüßten die Zuschauer und Veranstalter die Klassiker mit viel Applaus und kalten Getränken!
Bis spät in den Abend kamen die Fahrzeuge an, ein Highlight nach dem anderen. Später folgten noch zahleiche Benzingespräche vor der aufgestellten Fotoleinwand in Mitten der atemberaubenden Szenerie zwischen historischen Bauten und Fahrzeugen.
Wir hoffen, das wir einige Teilnehmer demnächst näher vorstellen können und das wir auch nächstes Jahr die 10. Rallye Elbflorenz fotografieren können!
This year's route led past baroque castles to Görlitz. From there it went towards Oybin, past the Oberlausitzer Dreieck and finally back to the goal: the horse racing track in Dresden.
Around 6:20 p.m., the teams exhausted by the rally should arrive in Dresden with a slight delay due to heavy rain. In front of this spectacular backdrop, the spectators and organizers greeted the classics with lots of applause and cold drinks!
The vehicles arrived until late in the evening, one highlight after the other. Later there were numerous gasoline conversations in front of the photo canvas in the middle of the breathtaking scenery between historical buildings and vehicles.
We hope that we will soon be able to introduce some of the participants in more detail and that we will be able to photograph the 10th Elbflorenz Rally next year too!
